A lite covering when we first got to Ridge Crest around 4:25:
The texture of the snow was great for riding. The only problem was when I got my pedals and cleats packed up with snow and had a hard time "clipping in". I finally figured out the trick of spraying my water from the camel back onto the pedals to melt the snow. It was good to go after that.
