It was the most crowded I've seen it this year and -2 was a good level. We did two runs.

Sunday 4/17 Dawn Patrol at Gragg Prong

Mike Huggins had plans with Mike Day to go to the Cheoah on Sunday. I suggested damn patrol on the Gragg Prong as an alternate since we had such a juicy level late in the day Saturday. We met at the Wilson Creek gage at 6:15 a.m. On the creek shortly after sun rise.

This run is my 9th one and I have run the Gragg Strip 5 times and walked it 4 times. All good times.

With rain gages like this, the options were wide open.

This was my first time on the Gragg since New Years Day 2007. I did that run with Gaston and Layla as well. It was significantly higher this time. When we got there it was just the 4 of us. We ran shuttle and four more showed up. Then 4 more showed up...

12 people on the Gragg prong. Three groups of four. I counted 6 swims - there may have been more. Everyone was fine. We had the juice. There were leftovers on Sunday...
