9/13/15 Spence Ridge to Little Table Rock to Chimneys then back via the Mountains To Sea Trail

 Just about to the top of Little Table Rock trail and got to get the view of the bird landing above. I could not have lucked out on the timing any better. Love the early fall temps.

9/12/15 Cheoah with Wesley and Jon

Before last week I had not paddled since I hurt my shoulder at Maytag on Wilson Creek in April. It was time to get back out. First thing first I started out with a few runs on the Catawba. It felt great to be back on the water and both shoulders felt ok. Next I reached out to Wesley and suggested a Cheoah run. He was game and introduced me to a new friend, Jon. The three of us took our time on the river, caught a bunch of eddies, discussed lines, made the moves and had a great long day on the river. I much prefer that to a quick run down and rush back to town.  

 Saturday morning on the way to Asheville for a 9 am meeting time.
