Down East Visit 3/18 to 3/20. I had to get back to work but got to celebrate my Dad's Birthday one day early.
Noel took me on a walk at the Greenway in Greenville.
The surprised look she gave me when she realized I was pointing the camera at her
We had a great time together.

My early morning trip to the beach.
It was a short but really good visit with my parents. Loved seeing them throw the Frisbee around.

Two MTB rides in March. One with mountains, one without but some nice purpose built MTB trails.
Another Wilson Creek ride on 3/12/16. Lower Wilson Ridge and the Big O.
On 3/18 I drove down east and on my way I stopped to ride the MTB trails at Lake Norman.
The trails were a lot of fun. I'm not sure if I have ever ridden 15 miles in such a short time.
Safety is a top priority on the Lake Norman trails. There were mile markers every mile or so.
They have done great work with these trails but I must admit Warrior Creek remains my favorite purpose built MTB trails. The extra gradient puts it over the top on the fun factor scale.

3/06/2016 Sunday Ride at Kitsuma.
My fourth day of riding.
There was a lot of people trail running and hiking Kitsuma. The parking lot at Ridgecrest was full when I got there. Another nice day and the trail conditions were great.Saturday, 3/05/2016 Two Laps at Warrior Creek with Rick and Gerhard
Thanks to Moh and Rick for coming out and riding with me. I had planned to see how many laps I could do in 6 hours but after 2 pretty fast ones, I decided that was enough.
3/04/2016 Beautiful Vacation Day to ride up to the top of Chestnut Mtn and then blast back down and then onto The Big O for more fast fun on The Blue Cruz
Nature was shining a light down on Craig Creek
Even though this spot was not on the route I had selected for the day, I had to go check it out.
The closer I got to the top of Chestnut Mountain, the cooler the temps and there was actually still a little bit of snow on the ground. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
The Peak
I like it.
3/3/16. Starla and I saw Cee Lo Green at the Orange Peel Wednesday nite and I went biking Thursday. I made it to Carolina Fatz Thursday morning and thanks to Josh, got my first tune up. The Superlight 29er has lived up to my every expectation. Riding my Blue Cruz is like a riding in a Blue Dream!
My first time on Spencer Gap in a few years. I really enjoyed the section from Trace Ridge down to the dirt road. I rode it in both directions and was impressed with all the trail work that has been done.
Love some Pisgah!
Finally got cold enough to try out my new winter shoes. They were great even when I had to walk across the creek, great way to break them in!
It started snowing just before I got back to the van.
