Thursday evening in Charlotte to see ChickenFoot with Noel
It was Noel's first big concert. ChickenFoot is Sammy Hager, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony, and Chad Smith. It was an awesome show at a very cool venue. Our $10 lawn seats were well worth the money spent. They played their new album, one Montrose tune: Bad Motor Scooter and a small portion of a Led song. The guys really rocked but I wish they had played one song from each members respective bands. That may have made it a notch more interesting. Adding Brad Hamilton for the last two songs was very cool.
Noel really seemed to enjoy the show. We met up with Dave and Edie at the venue and watched the show together.

Amos' Epics
Afterwork Tuesday 8/25 Woodlawn with Gerhard and Chris: the local boys
1 Watagua run with Johnny, Jim Toeman, Billy, and Gabe (his first time down the Watagua)
We got a late start and took our time for the sake of a "first timer" who by the way did exceptionally well. A very fun level, felt like 300 maybe 325...
I wanted to do a 2nd but with the idea of a 3:45 wake up and not much sleep last night, I called it a day. I wish we had gotten an earlier start. A few good pics from Stateline:
