On the 8th, Todd and Robbie picked me up at the I40 Kathy Rd exit on the 8th and we paid for a shuttle at the take-out. It was a nice sunny day with minimal cloud, blue skies.
On the 14th, Dan and Nappy rode with me and we picked up Johnny Calhoun in West Asheville then headed onto the Noli. The water level was almost the same level as the week before with Todd and Robbie. The weather was much more overcast and cloudy but still not cold enough to warrant pogies for most of the run. Dan ran our shuttle then he and Nappy hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail from our take-out spot. We parked the van at the bridge next to the trail head.
