After our hike at the Fisher Towers, we left Moab heading NW. Late that evening after some very tiring driving, we stopped at a hotel on the border of Utah and Nevada. After a long day of traveling through Nevada and into California, we found a camp site in a free Campground in Modoc National Forest. The next day, we got on Hwy 299 and crossed the state on that highway passing through Shasta-Trinity National Forest and Six Rivers National Forest.
